Anne McLellan attended a fundraising event in Edmonton in 2009 where she met Memory and Christie.  Following this fundraiser, Anne became a full sponsor to Esther Chowe.  In 2010, Anne participated in a Unicef trip to Malawi and had the opportunity to visit APU and meet Esther in person.
