Student Profile: Tiyamike Banda

My name is Tiyamike Banda. I learn at APU Girls Secondary School. APU has done so many things for me. Some of these are like class work, boarding and food. Lets sit down and know how is it like in details. Our teachers they very good simply because they know their job when they are in class they do as in class. Here at APU I myself I pass although it is a little bit hard but I try my best.
Our Director teaches us to help other people for free but not as labourers. This is like we go to Nsalu Health Centre and clean also help in carrying bricks at school which is APU. Doing physical exercise so that our body can be fit and have strong bones instead of cooking we do that for our daily life. We have people and they cook for us. In the hostel there is good place to sleep that others cannot find it, also our hostel is very spacious and good place for us to sleep good sleep and is very nice and fantastic. So when we are in classroom we don’t think about place where to sleep if the owner says I want money from this house, instead I use that time to read and doing some other learning. This is very good and wonderful because our friends in other schools they don’t have that chance.
APU is just a nice school that no one thought could be in Malawi it will encourage girls like me to be courageous and to learn more. Presented by Tiyamike Banda.
